Road closure list in Bangkok during APEC this week

Traffic in Bangkok will be significantly impacted during the APEC summit.

Thailand, the official host of the 2022 APEC summit, announced its readiness to host the 29th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which will take place on November 18th and 19th, 2022, in Bangkok, five days from November 13th.

Roads closures from November 16th to November 19th

Roads to close for 24 hours a day

  • Ratchadapisek Road from Asoke Montri to Ratchaprasong Intersection
  • Duang Phithak Road

Roads to close from 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

  • Ploenchit Road (Inbound) from the expressway to Ratchaprasong Intersection
  • Soi Ruamrudee
  • Soi Tonson
  • Ratchadamri (Inbound) from Ratchaprasong Intersection to Ratchadamri Intersection
  • Wireless Road (Witthayu Road) from Ploenchit Intersection to the Sarasin Intersection

Roads to be used as one way

  • Ratchadamri Road (Outbound) from Ratchadamri Intersection to Ratchaprasong Intersection
  • Ploenchit (Right side) from the expressway to Ratchaprasong Intersection
  • Wireless Road (Witthayu Road) (Outbound) from Sarasin Intersection to Ploenchit Intersection

The Benjakitti Park on the Ratchadapisek Road will be temporarily closed from today (November 14th to November 19th.
