UPDATE: Friends of missing Russian in Phuket offering US$10,000 to find her

Friends of the missing Russian woman in Phuket are offering 10,000 US dollars for anyone who has information and leads to find her.

Our previous stories:

A 53-year-old female Russian tourist has gone missing from a hotel in the Thalang district.

A missing Russian woman was last seen after going into the sea in Thang and left her clothes and shoes on a beach.

Now for the update:

The Phuket Govenor Narong Woonciew told the Phuket Express, “Today (October 24th) the search on day four for Ms. Elena, 53, Russian national has continued. About 150 people in the search team have tried to search everywhere they can as fast as possible.”

“The search teams walked along the Nai Thong Beach including a forest nearby. Meanwhile, marine searching has continued too on boats and jet-skis as well as on a helicopter. The search has expanded in wider areas.” The governor added.

It has been reported that Ms Elena’s friends are offering 10,000 US dollars to anyone who has information which leading to find her. Those interested should contact police departments in the Phuket area with tips.
