Thailand ranked fifth in Asia and second in ASEAN in terms of “Best country in 2022” by USNEWS

Thailand has been honored as the fifth best country in Asia and the second best country in ASEAN for 2022, according to a study by U.S. News & World Reports Best Countries Rankings.

Thailand is also the world’s 28th best country out of 85 countries for 2022, according to USNEWS.com. The top five world’s best countries include Switzerland, Germany, Canada, United States, and Sweden.

According to Government Spokesperson Anucha Burapachaisri, the study has ten criteria, including adventure, agility, cultural influence, entrepreneurship, heritage, being open for business, power, quality of life, and social purpose.

“Thailand is very popular among international travelers. Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha believes that people not only come to Thailand because of its fame but also because of its unique culture, traditions, and economic capacity. The Prime Minister also believes that Thailand can overcome any obstacle with unity,” Anucha stated.
