Chonburi police vow to sweep away illegal drugs and weapons

Chonburi —

Police Region 2 met with Chonburi police to instruct officers to increase surveillance and crack down on illegal drugs and firearms in Chonburi.

The meeting was chaired by Pol. Lt. Gen. Ittipol Ittisarnronnachai, Commander-in-Chief of Police Region 2. The meeting, which took place yesterday at 4 PM, October 10th, focused on the operation against illegal drugs and firearms in the Chonburi area, following a tragic massacre in Nong Bua Lamphu province, which involved drugs and a firearm.

Chonburi police were ordered to be on a close lookout for these issues for 30 days, starting today, October 10th to November 8th. Pol. Lt. Gen. Ittipol said he would travel to other provinces to instruct police officers about this operation in order to eradicate “the root of most problems in Thailand.”
