The accident took place in the early hours of yesterday, October 8th, on Beach Road in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung, Chonburi.

A group of good Samaritans were seen trying to put out the fire on a Yamaha Steed 400 motorbike, using a fire extinguisher. The fire alarmed pedestrians but luckily injured nobody. It was finally extinguished after a moment.

The motorcycle belonged to a 50-year-old Thai man, Mr. Panya Prommanoj. He said to The Pattaya News that he just purchased his bike from the previous owner for 50,000 baht about a month ago. The seller assured him the bike was in perfect condition before it suddenly burst into flames yesterday morning, Mr. Panya said.
