The two, a 3-year-old boy and a 5-month-old girl, were discovered alone with two bags of clothes. An unnamed good Samaritan found them near a pumping station in front of Walking Street, according to police reports.

Pattaya tourist police tried to locate the children’s parents but failed, so the children were taken to the Chonburi Provincial Housing for Children and Families to be taken care of while awaiting their parents.
