The road was adjacent to a cassava field. The deceased 15-year-old victim Mr. Sirawut, whose last name was withheld by police due to his age, was found dead on the street. He wore a white t-shirt and boxers. His black Honda Click motorbike was found nearby along with a deceased female dog. The victim did not wear a helmet, according to police reports.

The victim’s parents arrived at the scene to find their late son, saying he was riding a motorbike to his friend’s house. Huai Yai police suspected that the boy may have driven at a high speed before crashing with a dog that ran in front of him. His body remained at a hospital to await religious rites.

The dog is believed to be a stray, but is not confirmed by Huay Yai police.
