Rescue workers had to force open a car door because it was jammed before they transported the victim to Ban Bueng Hospital. A long brake trail was also discovered at the accident scene.

Nattapon Poolkham, a 27-year-old rescue worker, told local media that the driver said the truck slipped due to a wet road. There had been similar traffic accidents involving wet roads in many parts of Chonburi lately because of the constant rain, Nattapon added.
