Truck collides with power pole in Sri Racha, two women and one man seriously injured

Two women and one man were seriously injured after their truck collided with a power pole in Sri Racha during yesterday’s downpour.

Bowin police and rescue services on September 25th rushed to the Map Eang-Amata City road in the Bowin subdistrict of Sri Racha in Chonburi to aid three victims who had been seriously injured in a traffic accident.

The three victims, Ms. Namkhang Naksungnern (32), Ms. Thanaporn Naksungnoen (24), and Mr. Niphon Boon-art (34), were found near their white Isuzu 4-wheeled truck that rammed into a power pole on a traffic island around noon. The two women flew out of the truck and sustained serious injuries while the man, who was the driver, was stuck in the vehicle, similarly sustaining injuries.

The three victims were transported to Laem Chabang Hospital while the rain was still pouring. Other drivers stated to law enforcement that the truck slipped due to a wet road before it crashed into a power pole. An investigation by Bowin police was underway to establish the exact cause of the accident.
