A 14-year-old boy was reportedly beaten to death and discovered at a one-story house in the Huai Yai Subdistrict of Banglamung district on Saturday afternoon, September 17th.

Now for our update,

Pol. Col. Surakit In-am, police chief of the Huai Yai police station, announced the arrests of the three prime suspects who allegedly stomped a 14-year-old boy to his death. The body of the deceased teenager was found Saturday afternoon, September 17th, after the suspects accused the boy of stealing a gold necklace and 3,000 baht in cash (about one hundred USD) from the group.

The three suspects included Patcharaphon “Peach” Khingklai (21), Natpong “Nut” Chumyen (26), and Kritsada “Paep” Ngentoum (22) who were arrested in the Chonburi area along with a black Honda Wave motorbike that is in dispute, Pol. Col. Surakit revealed.

Surakit said he found blood stains on the bike, a three-meter long nylon rope, and a tool used for taking drugs hidden under the seat. Another prime suspect only identified as “Youth” (23) is still on the run.

The four suspects, according to police reports, physically assaulted the boy four times on Saturday morning after they abducted the boy and held him captive at an abandoned house over a theft accusation. After the boy passed away, they transported his body on a motorbike with his hands tied and left him at his home’s garage.

The three suspects admitted to beating the boy but said they did not mean to take his life, Surakit stated. They claimed that the boy confessed to stealing the necklace and the cash but refused to tell the group where he kept the valuables or what had happened to them, which frustrated the suspects.

Initially, the suspects were charged with collaboratively beating the boy to death. Huai Yai police said they would capture the remaining suspect as soon as they could.
