Pattaya —

Over six school marching bands from various provinces participated in “Music on the Beach 2022,” which came to an official conclusion on Pattaya Beach yesterday, September 18.

Pattaya Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches presided over the opening ceremony of Music on the Beach 2022, which featured marching band competitions and talent shows from six different schools across the country.

The six schools included Suranaree Wittaya School from Nakhon Ratchasima province, Sothon Wararam Worawihan School from Chachoengsao, Nakhon Ratchasima College of Dramatic Arts, Prachinratsaramrung School from Prachinburi, Lampang Kanlayanee School from Lampang, and Assumption School from Lampang.

Like other recent events in Pattaya, Pattaya Music on the Beach was organized to revive tourism and generate income for small businesses. There were two competitions, namely “Beach Talent Showband” and “Brass Theater Battles.”

All six schools were rewarded with scholarships in the first competition, while Lampang Kanlayanee School and Sothon Wararam Worawihan School won first and second place, respectively, in the second competition.

The mayor praised every band for their determination in keeping the competition going despite the rain.
