Pattaya Festival receives incredible response on first night

Pattaya —

The Pattaya Festival wrapped up for the first night yesterday, September 16th, with overwhelming support from over ten thousand attendees.

About 10,000 people across Pattaya and its surrounding areas flocked to Pattaya Beach to enjoy the flamboyant parade packed with people in fantasy costumes and luxurious supercars and concerts led by Thailand’s renowned rock band, “Big Ass.”

Pattaya Mayor Poramase Ngampiches led the opening ceremony last night. He told The Pattaya News that there were tons of tourists both Thais and foreigners alike flanked by the sides of the parade, enjoying the cars and the marching bands. “It feels good to see Pattaya busy again after the Covid pandemic,” the mayor stated.

Overall, the first night of the Pattaya Festival was a huge success, as it was surely able to serve its mission of boosting tourism in the city. The event will run this evening as well. You can learn about the artist line-up here.
