Intoxicated Greek tourist dies on hotel floor in Pattaya

Pattaya —

An intoxicated 54-year-old Greek tourist died after collapsing on a hotel floor in Pattaya.

Sawang Boriboon rescue services were notified of a foreign tourist who passed away on a hotel floor on Thepprasit Road in the Nongprue subdistrict of Banglamung, yesterday night, September 15th.

The tourist was a greek man named Mr. Konstantinos (last name withheld pending family notification) (54). He was found lying upward and topless on the hotel floor, wearing dark shorts. His body was transferred to Banglamung Hospital.

The hotel’s security said the man seemed drunk and came to sit on a couch in a lobby. While he tried to get back up, the Greek man suddenly collapsed and died.

His body remains at Banglamung Hospital as of press time. The cause of his death is still a mystery.

The name of the hotel was withheld pending a further investigation, said Banglamung police.
