Chonburi official gives bags of rice to people affected by flooding

Sri Racha, Chonburi —

A benevolent Chonburi official donated a truckload of rice bags to Sri Racha district residents who had been affected by flooding.

Mr. Ekasit Amchaon, a member of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO), was assigned by Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem, chief of the Chonburi PAO, to donate bags of rice to Sri Racha residents this morning, September 13th.

The donation came after massive flooding that struck Sri Racha in the middle of the night on September 11th and left many areas in the district inundated for days.

Citizens who received the rice bags were from Chalong market and Soi Rong Ped in the Surasak subdistrict of Sri Racha, as they were considered the most affected by the flooding, according to Mr. Ekasit. The kind official said he would continue giving basic necessities to people in other affected districts as well.
