Thief breaks into room and steals donation money in Pattaya

A thief broke into a woman’s room in Pattaya and stole money that she intended to donate to a local temple.

Pol. Lt. Chatchai Rakkwamchop from the Nongprue police station was notified of a burglary on Soi Krom Tan Man 6 in Banglamung’s Nongprue subdistrict yesterday evening, September 8th.

The victim was a Thai woman named Mrs. Thatchaphan Kuncharoen, a 42-year-old native of Koh Larn. She told police that a burglar had broken into her rental room through a front window and stolen her cash worth 1,000 baht and two amulets. The woman said that she felt sad and disappointed as she planned to donate the money to a local temple.

Initially, the victim reported the case to Nongprue police. Pol. Lt. Chatchai said he would review CCTV footage to find the culprit as soon as possible.
