Nongnooch Garden Pattaya welcomes two new baby elephants

Pattaya —

The Nongnooch Garden Pattaya welcomed two new baby elephants with a traditional ceremony.

The first calf, “Phang Wara Pim,” was born to the 14-year-old mother, “Phang Wan Wisa,” and the 15-year-old father, “Phang Pon Chai,” at the Nongnooch Garden Pattaya on September 3rd, 2022, while the second calf, “Phang Manoch,” was born to the mother, “Phang Rattathammanoon,” (9), and the father, “Phang Ply Mai,” (21).

They both were healthy and strong, according to the veterinarians, and were warmly welcomed to the Nongnooch Pattaya Garden with a traditional ceremony led by the respected monk, “Phrakhru Kasem Kittisopon,” who blessed them with happy lives.

The Nongnooch Pattaya Garden currently takes care of 57 elephants, with Phang Wara Pim and Phang Manoch being the first two calves of 2022. All are in good health and waiting for the tourists’ visits.
