Thai Constitutional Court scheduled to discuss Prayut’s eight-year term limit on Thursday

Bangkok –

The Committee of the Judge of the Constitutional Court is scheduled to host a meeting on Thursday, September 8th, to discuss the ministry term limit controversy of General Prayut Chan-O’Cha as the Prime Minister.

And the Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court Office would hold a press conference regarding the process of the meeting after the discussion, according to the Court’s Public Relations Department on Wednesday.

TPN Media noted that this would be the first court discussion after receiving both statements from oppositional MPs and General Prayut’s legal team which were submitted last week. The upcoming discussion, however, does not mean that the verdict would be finalized by tomorrow but the court may likely reveal more updates and consideration upon the allegation.
