Bowin subdistrict, Sri Racha —
A 14-year-old student was reportedly threatened with a knife to the throat while getting stomped by 20 rivals whom the victim claimed got furious after he stared at their faces.
“Kai,” a 14-year-old student, and his mother went to report their plight to Pol. Lt. Col. Nattapong Mueanphan at the Bowin Police Station with a video clip showing a chaotic moment when Kai was being stomped by a group of around 20 people.
The brawl took place around 5.30 p.m. yesterday, September 2nd, in the Bowin subdistrict of Sri Racha. Kai said that the suspect named “Jai” walked up to him the other day and accused him of staring at his face, to which he did not reply.
Then yesterday while Kai was hanging out with a couple of his friends, Jai approached him again but this time with a group of around 20 people. The suspect pulled out his knife and pointed it at Kai’s throat before starting to beat him. The young victim said the suspect’s friends joined the stomping and hurt him until they were all satisfied and ran away.
The victim received medical treatment at Piyavej Bowin Hospital. Saranporn Banluesrisakul, the victim’s mother, said that she was speechless at the suspect’s barbaric action. “I will pursue legal action against the suspect and his parents until he is punished for what he has done,” the mother stated.
Bowin police are tracking the suspects who are still at large as of press time.
