Flooding caused by heavy rains hit roadside shops and houses near the Bowin fresh market.

Local media reported heavy rain that hit Chonburi around 1.30 p.m. yesterday, August 31st, especially in the Bowin subdistrict of Sri Racha.

Road No 331 near the Bowin fresh market was flooded, diverting bikes and small vehicles to other routes. The roadside shops and houses were also affected by the flooding that permeated into the premises and damaged appliances and furniture.

“Jae Nok,” a local whose house was located on the roadside, stated that the water had damaged all three of her computers and house. Meanwhile, Anon Supaporn, a village headman who visited the area at 2 p.m., said he would have the city workers help clean the citizens’ houses and come up with a solution soon.
