Young female motorcyclist seriously injured after reportedly being hit and run by another motorcyclist in Pong

Banglamung, Chonburi –

A female motorcyclist was seriously injured after reportedly being hit and run by another motorcyclist at an interchange in the Pong subdistrict of Banglamung on Sunday morning, August 28th.

Officials from the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation arrived at the scene around 8:30 A.M. after being alerted to the road accident. Upon arrival, a young woman, aged about 25-30 years old, was found unconscious with a large wound on her head, losing a lot of blood. She was immediately delivered to Banglamung Hospital. Her motorcycle was lying nearby.

According to local witnesses, the woman’s motorcycle was crashed into by another motorcycle that reportedly came from behind. They could not see the hit-and-run motorcycle’s model and license plate as the motorcyclist quickly fled and it was unclear what the age or even gender of the other rider was.

Initially, Banglamung officers collected evidence at the scene and would check CCTV cameras as well as question the injured after her recovery in order to track the other motorcyclist for legal proceedings.
