The officer arrived at a gas station in the Ban Bueng subdistrict of Chonburi around 5.30 a.m. and inquired to the Burmese pump attendant about the incident. According to him, two men in black wearing full-face helmets on a bike pulled over beside him. The man on the back then got down and compelled him to open a cashier box while dragging him by his shirt.

Luckily, the unknown attendant said he could break free from the suspect’s grip and run away, but the two suspects could still take money worth 5,000 to 6,000 baht and flee. The attendant told officer Ekachai that he was very fortunate as the suspects did not seem to have a weapon.

The chief investigator said he would track down the suspects from their motorcycle as it was captured by a security camera and hoped this case could be closed soon.
