Three people arrested at condo in Pattaya for allegedly operating online gambling websites

Three suspects have been arrested at a condominium in Pattaya for allegedly operating online gambling websites.

A team from the Police Cyber Task Force (PCT) and the Pattaya City Police raided a room at a condominium in Central Pattaya in Nongprue, Banglamung on Saturday (August 6th).

Three Thai suspects have been arrested which are Mr. Pongsiri ‘Oat Sutthipong, 30, Mr. Nattapong ‘Dew’ Witchakit, 25, and Ms. Chonthicha ‘Skip’ Boonlarp, 27.

Seized from them were three laptops, three sets of computers, and seven mobile phones. They are facing charges of illegally operating online gambling websites and inviting people to join online gambling via electronic devices.

The Deputy Commander of Region 2 Major General Surajit Chingnawan told The Pattaya News, “The suspects have operated three illegal online gambling websites which are MCG168.com, g2sag168.com, and 3.g2slotg168.com. They used six bank accounts which generated 10 million baht each month. We have tracked them down before the arrest. They have admitted to all the charges.”
