Car driver reportedly suffering sudden chest pain crashes in Chonburi

Chonburi —

A 25-year-old male driver reportedly suffering sudden chest pain and losing consciousness crashed into a street barrier in Chonburi.

The accident happened on Phanthong-Bankao Road at 3:30 AM on July 30th in the Phan Thong subdistrict. A black Toyota Fortuner reportedly jammed into a street barrier while the driver was stuck in the wreck without consciousness.

The driver was identified later as Tinnapop Tanwarat, 25. He regained consciousness after being taken out of the wreck with a few non-life-threatening injuries and told rescue workers that he suddenly felt sharp chest pain, and everything just went dark.

However, Tinnapop fainted again, so he was rushed to Phan Thong Hospital for immediate care. The motorcyclist who witnessed the accident said that she saw the man’s car suddenly slamming into a street barrier for no reason, so she decided to call for help.

As of press time, the driver is still recovering in the hospital.
