UPDATE: Australian suspect in Harley Davidson Pattaya dealership shooting arrested

Pattaya —

An Australian suspect in a Harley Davidson Pattaya dealership shooting from earlier this year was recently arrested after attempting to jump a border in the Sa Kaeo province. So far, two suspects have been arrested while the other two remain at large.

First, our previous stories:

Police are hunting for four suspects who allegedly opened fire with more than 10 gunshots at the Harley-Davidson Pattaya motorbike shop before speeding away on motorcycles.

Now, for our updated story:

Pol. Col. Damrong Iampairote, Chief of police at the Nongprue Police Station, revealed yesterday, July 29th, that Anthony George Leoga, one of four fugitives allegedly involved in the Harley Davidson Pattaya dealership shooting in April, was arrested and currently detained for attempted murder, illegally possessing a firearm, carrying a firearm in public, and trespassing.

According to Officer Damrong, Anthony, a 61-year-old Australian male suspect, along with three other suspects bombarded AAS Harley-Davidson of Pattaya with gunshots in the middle of the night on April 19th over a business conflict allegedly connected to the “Hells Angels” biker group and fled.

After the investigation, police issued arrest warrants on four suspects including Anthony George Leorga, 61, Australian, Joshua George Hurley, 35, British, Steven Zatchus, 48, Canadian, and Axel Goddeeris, 37, Belgian.

Anthony was reportedly apprehended while attempting to jump a border in Sa Kaeo province on July 28th. But he was actually the second busted suspect as Joshua George Hurley, British, was the first one who was nabbed in Koh Chang, Trat province, on May 5th.

This leaves only two fugitives on the run, including Steven Zatchus, Canadian, and Axel Goddeeris, Belgian. Chief Police Damrong stated that Nongprue police have never ceased to intensively search for the remaining suspects and urged those who have helpful information to contact 038-197007 to help with the investigation.
