Thai Anti-Fake News Center confirms that men’s penises will not shrink after catching Covid-19, slams fake news reports

National –

The Anti-Fake News Center of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DES) confirmed today, July 26th, that the Covid-19 Coronavirus did not shrink men’s penises after recovery as the news has been widely shared on social media in the past week.

The Medical Department of the Ministry of Public Health began a fact check of an article spread on social media regarding the issue of a penis allegedly shrinking after the man recovered from Covid-19.

The authorities then confirmed that such information was proven false, stating that the current study has found no clear evidence of the shorter symptoms associated with a Covid-19 infection. This still requires further study in the future.

Therefore, the public is strongly advised not to believe and share such information on various social media. For more information, they should consult the Medical Department, Ministry of Public Health, via the website www.dms.go.th or 0-2590-6000.
