Land prices in Pattaya surge, Beach Road areas become most expensive, says Thai treasury department

Land prices in Pattaya have surged by 42.83% while the areas near Pattaya Beach Road become the most expensive reportedly due to the vast budget invested by the Thai government in the Eastern Economic Corridor scheme (EEC).

The land prices are estimated by the Treasury Department. The most expensive land is now the areas adjacent to Pattaya Beach Road, which cost around 220,000 baht per 4 square meters while the cheapest areas are the landlocked parts of the Phanat Nikhom District, which cost 250 baht per 4 square meters.

The top four most expensive lands close to the main road are Pattaya Beach Road, South Pattaya Beach Road, which cost 90,000-150,000 baht, Jomtien Beach Road, 65,000-100,000 baht, and Sukhumvit Road, 10,000-100,000 baht.
