Family of four, including two children, severely injured after crashing their vehicle into a street barrier in Pattaya

Pattaya-

A Thai family of four members including two five-year-old and eight-year boys suffered severe injuries after crashing into a street barrier while on a trip to Pattaya.

The tragic accident took place on Sunday, July 24th, on Motorway Road inbound to Pattaya. A purple Honda Jazz sedan carrying a Thai family of four members reportedly rammed into a street barrier, severely injuring all four victims.

The four unfortunate victims included a father and driver, Purivat Lanprasert, 29, a small son, Phatakorn, 5, who sustained serious injuries, another son, Naphatsakon, 8, and a mother, Anjana Yallah, 29. All the victims were rescued from the car wreck by Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan rescue workers and were rushed to the nearest hospital.

According to the driver’s friend (name withheld) driving in the same convoy, the victims were on a group vacation consisting of five cars to Pattaya. The friend said he saw the victim driving at high speeds before suddenly losing control and slamming into the barrier.

All four victims are being closely monitored at a hospital. The exact cause of the accident is still being investigated by law enforcement.
