The body of a woman living in Roi Et province was recovered from the Jomtien sea at 12 PM on Monday, July 25th. No signs of a physical assault were found on the body, according to Pattaya police.
The victim’s body was spotted floating in the Jomtien sea two kilometers away from Bali Hai Pier this afternoon. She wore blue short jeans, a black camisole, a black backpack, and a gold necklace that she was reportedly biting into when she was found.
Pattaya police found the victim’s ID in the backpack, saying that her name was Thitinan Nilphan, 44, from Roi Et province. Police also could not find any indicator of a physical assault on her body, according to reports. Her estimated time of death was no later than one day.

The victim’s body was transferred to a hospital for an elaborate autopsy as of press time.
The circumstances as to how she became floating in the Jomtien sea were still being investigated by Pattaya Police.
