Pattaya —
Pattaya mayor Poramese Ngampiches recently formed a task force of 68 officials to examine and document several city issues, mainly those concerning footpaths, billboards, and public utilities, before taking action within one month.
A task force of 68 city officials gathered today, July 19th, at the Pattaya Division of Public Works before being dismissed by Pattaya mayor Poramese Ngampiches to survey the city and document the issues, focusing primarily on dilapidated footpaths, billboards (Such as old and hazardous ones that became dilapidated during the Covid19 lockdowns), and public utilities like entangled wires. Once completed, all the information would be used to tackle the issues more effectively, according to the mayor.
Poramese carried on that he saw many issues in several unfinished construction sites around the city that have been causing inconveniences to tourists and residents but also hoped everyone would understand that Pattaya City is developing the city landscape and infrastructure to cope with the Eastern Economic Corridor Development Plan.
He concluded that the information collected by the task force would help him tackle problems much faster.
