Security guard reportedly not wearing a helmet dies after crashing his motorbike in the Pattaya area

A 40-year-old security guard who reportedly rode his motorbike without a helmet died after crashing into a traffic island in Banglamung this morning.

Nong Prue police responded to a traffic accident call on Chaiyaphon Withi Road in the Nong Prue subdistrict of Banglamung at 1:30 AM on Thursday, July 14th.

The victim, Krit Hemluan, 40, was found lying on the road with a severe head injury. He also had lost consciousness and had a weak pulse, so rescuers needed to perform CPR on him, but the victim unfortunately passed away due to serious blood loss. The rescuers then transported his body to a nearby hospital to wait for his relatives.

According to the victim’s wife (name withheld), the victim worked as a security guard in thr Rayong province and was riding his motorcycle back home in Pattaya after his shift. The wife said her husband never wore a helmet and probably fell asleep due to exhaustion from work before he collided with a traffic island, knocking him out and killing him.

Initially, Nong Prue police are reviewing CCTV footage to clarify the cause of the accident.
