Pattaya City kicks off yet more new roadwork on Sukhumvit Road to lay new drainage pipes

Pattaya

Pattaya City just kicked off another set of new roadwork on Sukhumvit Road that ranged from Soi Phothisan to Khlong Naklua and warned drivers to avoid the track and area if possible.

The new roadwork is one of several ongoing projects across Pattaya to build a new drainage network to deter flooding.

The first phase of this roadwork runs from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation’s entrance to Soi Phothisan, or approximately 90 meters. Two lanes adjacent to a traffic island on Sukhumvit Rd have also been blocked as seen in the picture below.

The authorities apologized for the inconvenience and advised drivers to avoid this area. TPN will keep you updated with the specific completion date when it becomes available, which as of now has not been announced.
