Royal Thai Army Commander and six senior army officers test positive for Covid-19 after returning from Malaysia

Bangkok –

General Narongpan Jitkaewtae, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, and six senior officers tested positive for Covid-19 Coronavirus after returning from Malaysia for an official visit from June 30th to July 1st.

General Narongpan and the other infected commanders are currently in the isolation process. Meanwhile, Deputy Commander-in-Chief General Apinan Khampeo was assigned to attend a meeting of the army commanders at the Royal Thai Police on Wednesday, July 6th.

Other members of his deligations who joined the trip also conducted self-isolation for health surveillance.
