A gunman who sprayed shotgun rounds at a sedan, in which a man was sitting to wait for his girlfriend, surrendered at the Banglamung Police Station. He initially confessed to the crime, saying it was a personal dispute, according to reports.

Now for our update:
Banglamung Police Chief Navin Sinthurat provided an update on a gunman who sprayed shotgun rounds at Teerapan Mulma while he was sitting in his sedan on July 3rd.
According to the officer, the suspect just turned himself in at the Banglamung Police Station on July 5th. His name was Kwanchai Paisanthanawat, aged 38 years old, who went by the alias “Pui Pattaya”. The officers then escorted him to his residence to impound his long Hatsan shotgun, which was registered, the officers said.
Pui initially conceded to the crime, claiming he had entangled himself with the victim and his girlfriend while the victim was trying to force his girlfriend to leave a party. He tried to separate them and unfortunately got into a verbal argument with the victim, fueling him with rage and anger to almost cost the victim’s life.
The suspect was charged with mischief, possessing a firearm in public without a permit, and carrying a firearm in public. However, he was released on bail of 100,000 baht in the end.
