Pattaya Islamic community assembles to raise funds for charity

Pattaya —

The Pattaya Islamic community recently assembled at the Sak Muhammad Ali Mosque to raise funds for charity.

The assembly was led by Imam Haji Muhammad Sulaiman and took place on the evening of July 2nd. It was held annually as an opportunity for the Muslims residing in Pattaya to come to socialize, contribute to people in need, and raise funding for public benefits.

The event was diverse in guests of different religions, including the Pattaya mayor Poramese Ngampiches, and Nongprue District Chief Winai Inthaphithak, so it was deemed a success in harmonizing the two communities.

In one significant donation, Haji Muhammad Ali Khan Pathan donated 25,000 baht to the mosque to give to society.

The Islamic Community of Pattaya promised to continue to support those in need across the area.
