Missing American woman found this morning after leaving home for a walk in Pattaya last night

  An elderly American woman who became lost after leaving home for a walk last night was found by Pattaya Police this morning, July 1st.

The victim, Mrs. Shirley (last name witheld), in her mid-70s, was reported missing by her relatives around 9 PM yesterday, June 30th, 2022. According to reports, she disappeared from her residence in the Pattaya Park Hill Village on the Map Song – Nong Yai Rd in the Nongprue subdistrict of Banglamung, Chonburi.

Pattaya tourist police then conducted a search and found an elderly American woman who came to ask for help at the Banglamung Police Station. The woman reportedly stated that she was lost after leaving her house for a walk and appeared confused.

In addition, the woman’s identity matched that of the lost woman whom Pattaya tourist police were searching for, so they took her home this morning, July 1st, without any injuries, although she was exhausted from her ordeal.

As seen in the photo, the missing woman hugged the police who helped assist her in reuniting with her family members. It was unclear where she had wandered during the night or if the woman had memory loss issues. Her family thanked the police for their work in bringing the missing woman home.
