Sri Racha District Chief doubles security to prevent car keying at Koh Loy pier

Sri Racha

The Sri Racha District Chief doubled security to prevent car keying after one domestic tourist’s car was damaged allegedly over a parking spot dispute on Koh Loy.

Chatchai Timkrachang, Sri Racha District Chief, commented on the incident of a tourist’s car getting badly keyed and deflated after allegedly parking in someone’s usual spot on June 26th.

According to Chatchai, he had directed his subordinates to survey the area more often as the victim claimed a surveillance camera nearby could not record the suspect. For a long-term solution, Chatchai revealed that the Sri Racha Municipality was planning to build a six-story parking garage near the old gymnasium on Koh Loy to accommodate an increasing number of tourists.

The district chief also warned unfamiliar drivers not to block traffic when they parked as it may lead to undesirable incidents.
