South East Asia Hotel Investors’ Summit (SEAHIS) is back for a 5th Edition in Bangkok as the region’s leading hotel investment event

Bangkok-

The region’s leading hotel investment summit will run on 27/28th June at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok, to look at the post-Covid world for the hospitality sector and its investors.

Bangkok, 14th June 2022 – Having been the only hotel investment to take place physically in Asia in 2021, SEAHIS is set to return for its 5th edition in Bangkok on 27/28th June

“In 2020, we showed our commitment to Thailand and South-East Asia by ensuring we held a live conference in the midst of the pandemic.  In 2022, we will bring together hotel owners, operators and service providers from right around the region, with 97 speakers lined up”, noted Simon Allison, CEO of hotel owners’ alliance HOFTEL which runs the Summit.

SEAHIS will again feature many of our regular industry leaders and participants like Suchad Chiaranussati, CEO of SC Capital; Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor International; Stephan Vanden Auweele, CEO of Asset World Corporation (TCC); and Rajeev Menon, President – Asia Pacific of Marriott; but we are also adding new names who have not spoken before at our Summit, like KP Ho, Founder and Executive Chairman at Banyan Tree; Craig Bond, MD of La Vie Hotels; Christophe Piffaretti, Chief Development Officer at Kempinski; Katerina Giannouka, President, Asia Pacific at Radisson;Gerald Lee, CEO of the Far East REIT managers and Shunsuke Yamamoto, Managing Director of Fortress Investment Group.

This year’s SEAHIS will cover a host of hot issues – can we attract staff back to our industry again and do we need to, or will technology take up the strain; whether good value deals exist in a market without much distress; how ESG rules will impact us; how useful and value-added the brands’ system charges are to owners; which new brands work best and what happens to the older ones – and much more.

SEAHIS 2022 will take place on 27th and 28th June 2022 at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok. For more information, please visit www.seahis.com.
