Banglamung –

A Thai couple miraculously survived with only minor injuries after their pickup truck crashed into an electric pole and flipped over at the Krathing Lai Intersection in Banglamung district of Chonburi last night, June 11th.

Volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue arrived at the scene after being notified of the road accident around 11:30 PM. Upon arrival, a black pickup truck with a Chonburi license plate reportedly lost its balance and crashed into an electric pole before flipping over on the road.

The car was completely wrecked. Driver Prida Wattanapanyo, 34, and his wife were found slightly injured. The rescuers then performed first aid before delivering them to the nearest hospital for checkups.

According to the driver, he began losing control while driving and was not sure if he was asleep at the wheel but all of a sudden the vehicle crashed into an electric pole and flipped over. He did mention the area was poorly lit however.
