Bang Lamung, Chonburi —
A foreign driver’s pickup truck overturned early this morning in the Pattaya area.
At 1 a.m. today, June 9th, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center responded to a car accident report on Siam Country Club Rd in the Pong subdistrict, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.
At the accident scene, a grey Ford Ranger pickup truck was found in an upside-down position. A male foreign driver (name and age not provided) was standing beside it with a Good Samaritan who helped him out of the truck. The driver sustained only minor injuries even though the truck was totally demolished. He also rejected speaking with the press, according to rescue workers.
According to the Good Samaritan, pictured above, he was asleep at the time of the accident when he heard a loud noise. He then followed the noise and discovered the truck overturned and the driver trapped inside, so he called the rescue personnel and helped the driver out.
Police would initially review security footage and question the driver to proceed further with possible legal action.
