Chonburi –

A trailer truck overturned before spilling gravel across a road in the Mueang Chonburi district.

The Mueang Chonburi Police were notified of the accident at 10:00 A.M. this morning (June 7th) on the Bypass Road in the Nong Maidang sub-district.

Rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the overturned trailer truck on the road. Gravel was found scattered across the road. The driver, identified only as Mr. Su, 30, was at the scene waiting for authorities.

A witness, who only gave the press his first name as Mr. Wat, 49, told TPN media “I was driving behind the truck which was driving at high speed before the truck lost control of his vehicle.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Su told authorities, “I was not driving fast. I lost control because I tried to avoid a pickup truck.”

However, Mueang Chonburi police are checking the speed of the truck before the accident from the GPS device which was installed on the truck as a company requirement.
