The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has scrapped reporting the number of infections with ATK self-administration and asymptomatic out of their daily updates and reduced the daily announcement to 2 times a month.
CCSA deputy spokesperson Dr. Sumanee Watcharasin said during the daily conference today, June 2nd, that the CCSA would change its reports by only including the infections with critical health conditions and who are being treated at hospitals and hospitels, starting this month.
The announcement will be reduced to twice a month, every other week on Thursdays. And if there is a CCSA general meeting, the CCSA will report its discussions and updates on those days.
Meanwhile, Thailand discovered 2,560 new Covid-19 cases today. Of that, 2,552 were reported from government surveillance and service systems, 6 were from prisons, and 2 were from imported cases. A total of 5,605 were recovered and released from hospitals while 36,190 infections are currently being treated. About 846 infections are critical cases and 417 cases are on ventilators.
