UPDATE: Jordanian who was in room before Russian woman fell from condo in Patong arrested at Phuket airport

A Jordanian man who was in a room before a Russian woman fell from a condominium in Patong earlier this week has been arrested at the Phuket International Airport after he was trying to leave Phuket.

First, our previous story:

An autopsy is set to be performed to determine the cause of death of a Russian woman who fell from a condominium in Patong yesterday (May 31st). There were three other foreigners present who were two men and a woman in the room.

The Patong Police reported yesterday (May 31st) that they have arrested Miss NATALIA KOSENKOVA, 35, Russian national, Mr. SMITH JAMAAL ANTWAUN, 38, American national and Mr.AHMED RADI MUSTAFA ALATOOM, 28, Jordanian national.

Dried marijuana, which was 1.10 grams worth, was found on a table and at the balcony of the room in the condominium. The three suspects were facing charges of illegal possession of Category 5 Drugs with intent to use.

Last night, (May 31st), the Jordanain Mr. Alatoom was arrested at the Phuket International Airport after trying to leave Phuket for a destination unknown.

All three suspects have reportedly declined to answer questions from Patong police and asked for their embassies and legal representation, according to Patong Police, and remained in custody as of press time.

Patong Police are waiting for full autopsy results from the victim as well.
