A cement truck overturned in Chonburi this morning and seriously injured a 51-year-old driver.
Today, May 25th, police from the Samed Police Station received a report of a cement truck overturning in the Huai Kapi sub-district, Mueang district, Chonburi.
Police found a yellow ten-wheel cement truck overturned on its right side while the male driver, Chamnan Rakpinit, 51, reportedly got his leg stuck and sustained serious injuries. It took around 20 minutes to free the victim, who was then hospitalized at the Burapha University Hospital for treatment.
According to Pornnipa Chimpali, a 49-year-old female witness, she saw the truck while it was about to make a curve, but it gradually tilted and overturned.
Initially, Mueang Chonburi police will question the driver after he makes a recovery.
