40-year-old man reportedly threatened at gunpoint and assaulted after road rage incident in Sri Racha

Sri Racha, Chonburi —

A 40-year-old man was threatened at gunpoint and physically assaulted in an alleged road rage incident in Sri Racha. 

Yesterday, May 23rd, the local media interviewed the victim of the alleged road rage and physical assault incident that happened at a souvenir shop on Sri Racha Hong Kho Rd, Surusik sub-district, Sri Racha, Chonburi. 

Mr. Mongkol Kladngam, a 40-year-old truck driver and the victim, revealed to local media that he got into a minor fender bender with a white sedan driver (name and age not given) while delivering goods. Mr. Mongkol claimed that he intended to negotiate with the sedan driver, but the driver was enraged, pulled out a firearm, and smacked Mr. Mongkol in the face multiple times.    

The incident was captured on CCTV.

According to the report, the victim reported a case to the Sri Racha Police Station and pleaded with the attacker to come to the station to negotiate.
