Unidentified man found deceased upside down at Banglamung lagoon, had previously been fishing

Locals were shocked after they found a dead man who was upside down while he was fishing at a lagoon in the Banglamung district.

The Huayyai Police was notified of the body yesterday (May 22nd) at a lagoon on Tessaban 1 Road in Soi 3, Huayyai sub-district.

Police and rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the body of the unidentified man. The body was found head down in the water and legs up in the air. Nearby, law enforcement found a fishing hook and rod. The body was taken to a local hospital to find the cause of death.

Mr. Satit Naputta, 55, a local resident,told TPN media, “I was going to open a shop near here when I saw the body. I was shocked but later I called police.”

Huayyai police are still trying to identify the man and what exactly led to his death.
