Laotian man in Pattaya allegedly assaulted with a helmet for asking his neighbor about a Lazada delivery

Nong Prue, Pattaya —

A 34-year-old man from Laos was allegedly physically assaulted with a helmet after he inquired about his Lazada parcel from his next-door neighbor.

In the early morning today, 0.15 a.m. May 18th, Pol. Lt. Anand Mahakit Asavakul from the Pattaya Police Station was notified of a physical assault on Soi Thepprasit 8, Nong Prue sub-district, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.


Mr. Kongnouanhak Dang, a 34-year-old man from Laos, was found with a head injury and received treatment from rescue workers before being taken to the Pattaya police station for a formal statement.

The victim told Pattaya police that he went to his next-door neighbor’s room to inquire about a package delivery from Lazada that he was waiting for, but the neighbor suddenly smacked the victim in his head with a motorbike helmet twice.

The exact cause of the assault was still under investigation, said Pattaya Police.


Initially, the victim was still under hospital care, and the police would summon the suspect for interrogation.
