Pattaya police holds meeting with Pattaya Walking Street security guards to discuss preparations for expected impending full reopening

Pattaya —

The Pattaya police held a meeting with Pattaya Walking Street security guards yesterday, May 10th, to discuss preparations for the expected impending full reopening.

The meeting took place at The Stone House on Pattaya Walking Street with several senior police officers attending. The meeting focused on preparations such as getting a translator for customer issues to take care of tourists who would visit Walking Street venues following the full reopening.

Furthermore, the police asked the security guards to monitor any incident that could escalate into a dangerous situation and to avoid physical conflict with customers in order to preserve a positive tourism image. The meeting also emphasized the importance of keeping records of every guard and creating a Line group named “Cyber village walking street” to report problems found on Pattaya Walking Street.

“Since many businesses on Walking Street are opening after nearly two years of forced closures, we must take special care of visitors, especially in terms of security. This is the responsibility of the security guards who work closely with the customers.” Pattaya police said.
