Pattaya mayoral candidate Kittisak goes on campaign rally on Soi Phothisan, saying city development is not all about road digging

Bang Lamung, Pattaya –

Mr. Kittisak “Bob” Ninwattanatochai visited the residents at Soi Phothisan with most people raising issues about road digging and polluted water.

Mr. Kittisak, the Pattaya mayoral candidate from the Progressive Movement Association, and his team met with residents in Soi Phothisan, Bang Lamung, Chonburi, today, April 22nd, and asked them what they wanted to see from the new mayor. According to Mr. Kittisak, the majority of the people were having problems with reportedly endless road digging and polluted water. He said that city development was not all about road digging and repair because it rather prompted inconvenience for most of the residents. Mr. Kittisak also presented some of his campaign pledges which included the following: 1) Developing local areas to boost the economy and benefit business operators 2) Creating more green areas In Pattaya 3) Adopting a walkable city idea 4) Adding more parking spaces and public transportation 5) Providing better citywide public transportation. “ I think to create a good policy that benefits the majority of people, I must first listen to the voice of the people as much as possible. For the wastewater issue today, I think we need to build a channel for it to flow to Pattaya’s wastewater treatment system before releasing it to the water source or reusing it. This can be made possible with a caring leader.” “Also, one of the first things I need to do if I get elected is to create good welfare for children and elderly to better their living conditions so that they will become a strong foundation for Pattaya in terms of a sustainable economy and tourism.” Mr. Kittisak from the Progressive Movement Association concluded.

The mayoral election is May 22nd, next month.
