Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn visits animal medical unit in Sattahip to vaccinate animals and assist with volunteer work

Yesterday, April 20th, Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana visited the Chulabhorn Volunteer Unit in the Sattahip district, Chonburi, yesterday, April 20th, to personally examine and vaccinate animals.

On this occasion, she also donated 100 doses of rabies vaccines and 100 bags of animal food for stray dogs to Chonburi Governor Mr. Phakhathorn Thienchai.

Then, Her Royal Highness Princess greeted volunteer veterinarians and citizens who brought their pets for treatment to lift their spirits and take part in sterilizing 12 dogs by assisting in anesthetizing the dogs and closely inspecting their pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure, resulting in a safe and sound operation.

According to reports, Her Royal Highness Princess intended to drive a mission to prevent rabies in the Chonburi area, which has long been a goal of hers for a long time. Many relevant organizations have joined this mission to provide rabies vaccines and sterilization services for animals in Chonburi as well as to educate residents on the danger of rabies and how to properly avoid it. So far, 384 cats and dogs have received vaccination and 181 have been sterilized in Chonburi recently.
