Four suspects allegedly shoot more than 10 bullets into Harley-Davidson Pattaya shop overnight

Pattaya –

Police are hunting for four suspects who allegedly opened fire with more than 10 gunshots at the Harley-Davidson Pattaya motorbike shop before speeding away on motorcycles.

The Nongprue Police was notified of the incident yesterday morning (April 19th) at 4:00 A.M. at the AAS Harley-Davidson motorbikes Pattaya branch in Nongprue. Law enforcement officers and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene shortly after the initial call.

Eleven bullet holes were found on the shop glass. Nine cartridges and a bullet were found on the ground in front of the shop. No injuries were reported.

Mr. Arnon Pinpetch, 45, a security guard, told Nongprue police, “I was at the security box near the shop. A suspect who was wearing a full motorbike helmet came directly up to me. He shouted out loud in Thai, ordering me to get down on the floor, and took my mobile phone before they fired more than 10 gunshots at the motorbike shop. There were four suspects in total. The four suspects later sped away on two ‘Big Bikes.”

Colonel Damrong Iampairote told The Pattaya News yesterday afternoon during an update, “At this stage we believe this stemmed from a business conflict or personal conflict but not theft. However, the suspects took the mobile phone of the security guard which adds armed robbery charges to the situation. This event was well planned.”

“We are checking CCTV footage nearby to track down the suspects as soon as possible. We are also continuing interviews with the staff and management from the shop to determine if they had any idea why this event took place.”

CCTV footage photos were later released to the media late yesterday afternoon, April 19th, and are below but are inconclusive and Nongprue police are still investigating. TPN media will provide any further updates to this event if and when it becomes available.
